Subject: Transmittal NO. 116 - Largely Attended Events (LAE) Process -
International Travel Plan
Importance: High
All,
This
office has just learned about another event taking place at a foreign location
during FY 2004. This event was not
included in our original International Travel Plan that was forwarded to the
HHS/Office of Global Health Affairs (OGHA).
Thus, we need to determine if this event is to be added to the plan and
to our LAE listing. The event is The
21st International Papillomavirus Conference to be held in Mexico City, Mexico February
20-26, 2004.
At
this time, please email Lori Barrack (cc me and Ken Stith) only the
number of persons that you anticipate will be attending this conference. As a reminder, it's important that you
canvass your respective communities and provide a meaningful attendance number,
since the OGHA will be closely monitoring all such travel.
If
you don't anticipate anyone from your IC attending this event, please send a
negative response.
We
would appreciate the information ASAP but by not later than cob Wednesday,
September 24.
Thanks,
Joel
