The Department has just informed us of the subject event which is to take place some time in November of calendar year 2003, and thus in FY 2004. In addition, the ASAM/OS is requesting projected attendance numbers for this event. Once we obtain your estimates, we will be able to determine whether this event should be added to our International Travel Plan for FY 2004.

So at this time, we request that you provide this office only w/ an estimate of the number of individuals your IC plans to send to this event. Each IC component is to respond to this request including a negative response.

Please email your attendance estimate to Rachel Nestor and cc Ken Stith, Barry Koitz, and me by not later than noon Monday, July 28.
