All,

The subject conference is scheduled to take play on May 16-20. In addition to the conference dates (May 16-20), there are also two sessions for the Commissioned Officers to take the Basic Officer Training Course (BOTC). Those sessions are being conducted on either May 14-16 or May 21-23. At this time, we are requesting ONLY:

1) The number of IC employees/staff who are planning to attend the conference;

2) The number of IC Commissioned Officers who are planning to attend the conference; and

3) The number of IC Commissioned Officers who are planning to attend the conference and one of the BOTC sessions.

We've just received word from the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management/OS, that travel to this conference may be limited.

Therefore, it is imperative that you canvass your respective communities and provide this office w/ a meaningful estimate.

Please provide the requisite data to Lori Barrack w/ a cc to Ken Stith and Joel Papier by not later than Wednesday, March 17, 2004. If you've determined that nobody from your IC will be attending the conference, please email us a negative response.
