All,
This office just received word that the HHS/Office of Global Health Affairs
has instituted new policy guidance. Effective immediately, all travel of
NIH personnel (including employees, Commissioned Officers, appointed
consultants/experts, and Non-FTE staff, i.e., Visiting Fellows, IRTA's,
etc.) to U.S.- based international organizations must also be reported
through the on-line NFT system. This includes but is not limited to the Pan
American Health Organization in Washington, DC and the United Nations and
its specialized agencies based in New York. This requirement is intended to
assist management at all levels capture the full breadth of Department
travel related to global health issues.
Please make wide distribution of this guidance to your respective
communities.
