This serves as a follow up to Transmittal No. 8.

In order to help expedite the processing of all foreign trip requests, when you transmit the NIT request to the HHS, at the same time, please email a copy of the request to the following FIC address:

FICNIT@NIH.GOV

FIC asks that you do not fax the NIT request to their office and that you do not email the request to the personal email address of Sandra Fuentes.

As a reminder, if you do not send the NIT request to the FIC, the appropriate cable clearance document cannot be processed.
