Importance:         High

All,

Recently, NIH officials met w/ HHS officials to discuss the proposed new travel policies as they relate to International Travel (HHS Travel Manual Chapter 6) .  As a result, we have been tasked w/ providing attendance numbers covering the previous three fiscal years.  Thus, we are requesting the following information:

·          For each LAE on the attached file, please simply tell us where the meeting took place, i.e., location, during FY 2000, FY 2001, and FY 2002.   NOTE: We are requesting the information by Fiscal Year, not Calendar Year.

For example: The AACR Meeting took place in Boston, Massachusetts, FY 2000; San Diego, CA, FY 2001; and Paris, France, FY 2002 (this is a hypothetical example).

We have to request the location for each event for each of the applicable fiscal years since the site might have fluctuated between domestic and foreign, from one year to the next.

As we receive the information from you, we will send out updated lists periodically, so we're not continuing to receive duplicate information.  Once we have the locations for all of the events on the list, we will request CIT to perform a query such that we will be able to extract attendance information for only International trips, from the NIH DataWarehouse.

If the event on the current list did not take place during the given fiscal year, let us know that information, as well.

Please email the requisite information to me ASAP and by not later than Tuesday, June 10.  In addition, please cc: Rachel Nestor.

Should you have any questions, I can be contacted on 301-496-4379.

Joel
