​​​​​​​​​​​About the Financial Reporting Division

The Financial Reporting Division is responsible for:

  • Preparation of Financial Statements and provides analytical relationships to including Proprietary/Budgetary account analysis, proper review of Department edit checks, and Trial Balance reconciliations;
  • Review and submittal of GTAS reporting in accordance with Treasury Guidelines;
  • Performing monthly reconciliations with a greater emphasis on facilitating the development of remediation plan to resolve differences; 
  • Analysis and data clean-up focused on abnormal balances and high priority general ledger accounts; and
  • Interaction with other government organizations, including reporting to DHHS, OMB, and the Department of the Treasury. 

Mission statement: ​

The primary mission of Financial Reporting and Reconciliation Divisions is to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data. This involves preparing and reviewing financial statements, reconciling accounts, identifying and resolving variances, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
