NIH Attendance at Non-NIH Hosted Scientific Meetings and Conferences

In accordance with Section 3074 of the 21st Century Cures Act, agencies are required to post a report on their website by December 31 of each year, all such scientific conferences where the total net expenses are greater than $30,000. These reporting requirements apply to all NIH Hosted scientific conferences or attendance at non-Federal scientific conferences. When the net expenses exceed $150,000, a description of the exceptional circumstances for exceeding that amount must be provided as part of the report. As such attendance at all Non-NIH Hosted events for those that are just Scientific Conferences/Meetings, which whose aggregate costs are above $30k must be reported annually.
